• Personal Information: First name, last name, email, and mobile number. The mobile number is mandatory as it is our primary method for secure identity verification via One-Time Password (OTP).
• Location Data: Used strictly while the app is in use to connect patients with nearby care providers. The App does not track or collect location data in the background.
• Photos & Camera: Accessed only when you choose to upload profile images or required medical documents.
• Push Notifications: Used via Firebase to notify you about booking status and service updates.

2. How We Use Your Data

• To authenticate users and secure accounts via SMS/OTP.
• To provide core functionality (matching users with healthcare providers based on current location).
• To maintain safety and security within the CareMate community.

3. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your data only as long as your account is active. Users have the right to delete their account and all associated personal data at any time through the app settings or by contacting our support email.

4. Device Access

• Camera/Gallery: Used only for document and profile photo uploads.
• Location: Used only to provide real-time service location; not shared with third parties for advertising.

5. Security

We implement industry-standard technical measures (encryption and secure servers) to protect your sensitive data, especially phone numbers and location information.
